Was getting some bargain items at Metro earlier this afternoon and it was interrupted by screams.

Crowds, sales assistants, cashiers rushed to the escalator. A baby fell out of a pram when the parents tried to push it down the escalator.

Heard that the baby wasn’t strapped in, not sure what injuries the kid sustained. The kid could possibly have died.

Seriously…

1) Escalators are not suitable for prams

2) Please buckle your kid.

and that applies to the escalator for MRTs as well.
